Location: NY2 DC is located in the United States of America, Secaucus NJ. New York data center NY2 in Secaucus serves the world's largest financial, media, and enterprise companies with Equinix International Business Exchange facilities and premium interconnection services. It is a single-story, steel-frame concrete slab building with additional preparedness construction that also enhances flood resiliency. NY2 is 14 miles from Newark Airport (EWR), 17 miles from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and 25 miles from John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK).
Equinix NY2 datacentre is SSAE 16/ISAE 3402 SOC-1 Type II, PCI-DSS, SOC-2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified.
Security: The data centre is monitored 24x7 by CCTV and security patrols. There are multiple access barriers, including mantraps, contactless key cards and biometric readers.
Power: The facility has completely independent (N+1) A & B UPS 220V AC power feeds along with completely independent (N+1) A & B 48V DC. A+B alternative Diesel Generators are available aswell. The infrastructure will be online no matter how much time the electric power outage takes.
Environment: SLAs on temperature and humidity in line with ASHRAE recommendations; N+1 cooling; sophisticated water and smoke detection systems; advanced fire suppression in line with local regulations and designed for maximum safety and minimum damage.
